City of blinding lights Paris

Spreading my wings
You learned me how to fly
I’ve met some that quite joyfull joined my flight
I’d made up my destination right away
You choose another sight and my feathers fell

I tried to catch it up, nevertheless
I took more than I withstand

I landed on a abandoned landscape
Where I marked my dreams
Protecting myself, I never looked at a bird thinking it was you

Than the wind came in, and written what’s said
I felt them waving in my hair
I felt it in my heart
Spreading my wings, you learned me how to do
Making me a lot stronger

I knew I had to leave my abandoned landscape
What particularly became my shelter
I spread my wings and flew
I caught up with you
